The Kihei Akahi complex has a single, well
maintained tennis court available for play. There is a sign up sheet in the
front office to reserve a specific time. Sign ups are made a day in advance.
Otherwise if the court is open, you may use it.
If you don't have a
partner, contact us. Berney is a 3.5/4.0 level player and loves to play.
Otherwise, you can post a note at the front desk, on the court, or visit the
USTA web
site and click the link to search for a potential partner.
If you're
an avid player, you may want to visit one of the tennis facilities below and
participate in their programs while you're here. This will give you the
opportunity to
- improve your game through lessons - both group and
private
- meet other players visiting and living in the area
for play
- experience other court surfaces

Wailea Tennis Club
- Located just up the hill from the Shops at Wailea,
the Wailea Tennis
Club has been ranked for more than a decade as one of the country's 50 best
tennis facilities. It offers a USPTA Certified tennis teaching staff who
provide lessons 7 days a week. You can enjoy daily doubles, advanced clinics,

Makena Tennis Club
- Ranked in the top 75 for tennis resorts in the USA

Makena Tennis Club is located at the Makena Golf Courses
near the Makena Beach and Golf Resort (formerly the Maui Prince Resort) and
about 5 miles away from our condo. With six hard courts (two lit), the Makena
Tennis Club offers a wide range of Activities and Lessons including: private
and Group Instruction, Daily Clinics, Lesson Programs, Round Robins, Social
Mixers and Junior Clinics. Peter Burwash International (PBI) runs the tennis

Kalama Park
- Kalama Park on S. Kihei Rd. is a spacious and
diverse county park complex for all kinds of activities and sports. It has
excellent public tennis courts where you are likely to pick up a game on any
day. About 2 miles from the condo, Kalama Park has four full side-by-side
tennis courts with hardcourt surfaces. They are enclosured and fully-lighted.
